A native of North Carolina, Melody is the daughter of retired pastors. She served in the music ministry for various churches for years, beginning at age fifteen when she received her first job as a choir director. Her passion for music led her to become a music teacher, but it was later in her teaching career that Melody began to explore writing songs and books; her first book being in the children’s genre.  However, Melody’s love for God, the church, and the ministry of encouraging others led her to write her first inspirational, “Winning Over Whatever: The Ultimate WOW Factor!” Reading this book is sure to strengthen your faith, regardless of where you are in your walk with God!
